Sieve Specifications
FRAME DIAMETER
The sieve diameter is the length of the straight line from inside edge to inside edge of the frame, passing through the centre of the sieve. The sieve diameter should be measured at the top of the sieve.
FRAME DEPTH
The depth of the sieve is measured from the top of the frame to the surface of the woven wire mesh or perforated plate.
Woven Wire
All woven wire mesh used in Impact Test Sieves in Australia is manufactured from high-grade stainless steel. Therefore, these sieves provide excellent corrosion resistance, long service life and precise test results. Additionally, Impact woven wire sieves deliver consistent performance across laboratory and industrial environments.
Perforated Plate
The perforated plates used in Impact Test Sieves in Australia are manufactured from punched, coated mild steel plates. These sieves provide durability and strength, especially for heavier materials.
Impact also manufactures round-hole perforated plate sieves, which allow greater flexibility for different testing needs.
Grain & Coffee Sieves
Our range of Grain Sieves are manufactured from a slotted punched plate of stainless steel. The image below shows one of Impact's Grain Sieves.
Our Coffee Sieves are manufactured from round hole & slotted punched plate of stainless steel. Coffee sieves are available in 300mm diameter x 75mm or 45mm deep frames & 200mm x 50mm deep frames.
